An overview of comprehensive pain management in 2019: Alternatives to opioid prescription

Living with chronic pain is difficult. Join Dr. Tim Leier, Medical Director of Desert Clinic Pain Institute, for a discussion of a variety of options that are available to treat chronic pain. Dr. Leier is board-certified in orthopedic and trauma surgery in Germany, and triple board-certified in pain management, sports medicine and pediatrics in the United States. His pain management strategies combine all non-operative approaches – from detailed functional rehabilitation and acupuncture, to ultrasound and fluoroscopy-guided, minimally-invasive procedures, such as epidural steroid injections and radiofrequency ablation.
