About the play:

Empower You Edutainment is a non- profit organization with a mission to break down social and economic barriers and empower, educate and transform lives of the voiceless through song, dance and theater. The play “The Elephant in the Room”, written by playwright Sharron Lewis is a one-act, 30 minute theatrical production that deals with the dilemmas families often experience when they are afraid to talk about mental health issues. The play will make you laugh and cry, but most importantly it will make you think!
