Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Upholds and supports the mission, philosophy, objectives, policies and ethics of CHSI.
  2. Will smile; speak in a courteous and friendly manner with patients, staff members and clients.
  3. Assist in creating and developing teaching aids such as training handbooks.
  4. Assist employees with problems concerning “how to” perform specific tasks related to their position.
  5. Respond, evaluate and manage incoming questions for the training team via helpdesk ticket system and phone calls.
  6. Assist with organization wide needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed in the EMR systems.
  7. Prepare educational aids and materials.
  8. Provides final reviews and proofreads all correspondence being sent out on behalf of the department.
  9. Can independently conduct research, develop content, and create effective presentations, as requested.
  10. Partner with other departments and liaise with matter experts regarding instructional design.
  11. Maintain updated curriculum and training records.
  12. Handle confidential information, which would have immediate negative impact on the company operations, performance, or value if shared beyond its intended audience.
  13. Plan, organize and coordinate the administrative aspects of meetings.
  14. Prepare training materials and training room for all NEO.
  15. Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  16. Track expenses for the department and order supplies for the department.
  17. Perform all other duties as directed, either formally or informally, verbally or in writing.
Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with divergent groups.
  • Must possess good “customer service” including verbal and written communication.
  • A high standard of professionalism and professional ethics and conduct is expected in speech, manner, attitude and appearance at all times.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to deal effectively with changing situations and stressful environment.
  • Ability to perform tasks related to physical activity to complete the responsibilities of the position such as lifting boxes up to approximately 20 lbs.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Requires an EMR experience, education, training, or related field background generally equivalent to an AA degree.
  • 1-2 years of training experience of increasing variety and/or complexity OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Summary

Under the direction of the Training Supervisor and Director of Specialty Services, the Training Coordinator is responsible for successfully supporting the Training Department through knowledge in the functionality of the electronic medical records and electronic practice management systems. Serve as main point of contact for the training department in support of their subject expertise in the application for the Physicians, RN’s, MA’s and, Non-clinical staffs during the implementation process and post implementation process. This position will collaborate with team members with development of training content. Perform tasks that are diverse and advanced; Responsible for following all (CHSI) policy and procedures, objectives, and philosophy.
