In your role as Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will report to the Chief Patient Experience and Compliance Officer.
Your responsibilities will include supporting clinical compliance activities and programs to ensure patient safety and
high-quality care, including monitoring systems, participating in internal and external audit processes, and supporting
process improvement projects. This position partners closely with Quality Committee members, the IT Team, Clinic
Leadership and Operational Leadership.

DUTIES
• Supports Quality Assurance measures by monitoring compliance, infection control, and safety around clinical
services
• Tracks clinical incident reports, monitors data, and assists in investigations as needed utilizing root cause analysis
or other systemic processes by gathering, compiling, and organizing data, statistics, and other information for
reports and presentations, as directed
• Applies technical and procedural skills efficiently and effectively
• Assists with provider peer review and adherence to clinical policies
• Participates in preparation for local, state, and federal audits
• Participates in internal clinical facility audits
• Performs follow-up when necessary to ensure all recommendations or findings have been addressed from internal
or external audits
• Tracks and organizes deadlines to effectively coordinate corrective actions related to surveillance activities from
all clinic locations/departments
• Monitors quality and quality related policies and procedures due for update and renewal
• Maintain Medical Record integrity that meets all federal HRSA, State and County Health Department, and all
other governmental and public/private audit requirements
• Follows all MBCHC/MBHD policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Minimum Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Minimum of three years’ experience in an FQHC, RHC, Hospital System or other medical environment such as a
Skilled Nursing Facility
• Strong organization skills tat reflect ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with
excellent attention to detail
• Versatile, flexible, and willing to work with constantly changing priorities and handle diverse, divergent, and
perhaps sometimes competing assignments
• Advanced computer skills and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook,
and PowerPoint)
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
