Reporting to the Director of Home Health the Physical Therapy Assistant administers Physical Therapy agents and techniques as directed by a Registered Physical Therapist in a manner to assist in the rehabilitation of people with functional disabilities and impairments. Included is the ability to properly receive orders, review medical records and administer therapy. The position involves effective documentation and communication of medical information .

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

• Licensed by the State of California as Physical Therapy Assistant

• Valid CA Driver’s License required

• Automobile with current registration and insurance required

• Current American Heart BLS certification required
