About Us

The Community Health Association Inland Southern Region (CHAISR) serves as a champion and leading advocate for community-based health centers and clinics across Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Established in 2009 and designated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2011, CHAISR supports a diverse network of members dedicated to delivering accessible, high-quality healthcare to the region’s safety net populations.

Through advocacy, public policy engagement, technical assistance, quality initiatives, workforce development, and healthcare education, CHAISR strengthens the capacity of its member organizations to continue their mission of serving as a vital safety net for individuals and families throughout the region.

How is CHAISR pronounced?

It’s Chai-Sir

– Think: your favorite morning chai latte, followed by a polite “sir”.

Not “chaser”

– We’re here to support our health center members and the patients who rely on them, not race through it.

Easy right?

The Value of Community Health Centers

We are excited to release our new video which demonstrates the value of community based health care that our members provide to the most vulnerable communities in both San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.
