Annual Membership Satisfaction Survey
A membership satisfaction survey was performed during the months of October to December 2019. The purpose
of the annual survey was to gather insight into the memberships’ satisfaction with the Association’s performance,
as well as garnering suggestions for increasing member services.
A total of 20 individuals on the Community Health Association Inland Southern Region’s Board of Directors were
invited to complete the questionnaire. All 20 Board members completed the 29-question online survey
representing a 100% participation rate. Satisfaction was measured on a scale of 1 through 5:
• 1 representing “Very Dissatisfied”
• 2 representing “Dissatisfied”
• 3 representing “Neutral”
• 4 representing “Satisfied”
• 5 representing “Very Satisfied”
The Association’s Board of Directors was composed of one leadership level individual from each membership
organization. The figure below shows the job titles of the Board of Directors: 6 (30%) Chief Executive Officer; 5
(25%) Other, specified by respondents as Engagement Officer, Chief Development Officer, Assistant Director,
Administrative Analyst, and Chief Clinical Officer/Chief Nursing Officer; 3 (15%) Vice President, 2 (10%) Chief
Operating Officer; 2 (10%) Executive Director; 1 (5%) Chief Medical Officer; and 1 (5%) Manger – Administrative.
Over the past three years, the composition of the Board of Directors has slightly changed. The figure below
shows the shift over the years. Chief Executive Officers have remained the largest portion of those who serve on
the Association’s Board of Directors.
